A couple of months ago, we filmed a short, sweet comedy called Wait List, starring Travis Grant, Bec Fordyce and Loring Murtha.

The day after we wrapped, I could not get these characters, and their story, out of my mind. Obsessed with where I thought they would end up with their unusual and unlikely love story, I wrote the feature film version in five days calling it, “Wait List: A Love-ish Story.”

It’s a comedy, it’s a drama, it is heartfelt, and our actors are going to crush it!

Synopsis:

“Wait List: A Love-ish Story –

The woman of Carter Morgan’s dreams is his childhood friend’s mother, Lisa Chase.  When Carter finds out she’s gotten divorced, he decides to go for it despite the obstacles that are placed in their way. What’s sexy and fun turns more serious and sad when they start to develop feelings towards each other.”

“When you get exactly what you want, you have to deal with exactly what you get.”

Written and directed by Debra Markowitz, Wait-List: A Love-ish Story will be shot on a RED Komodo X by Director of Photography, John Marean.
